New Week. New cakes.

And it's still strange as all get out out there.  
My first cake was a baby shower cake and I LOVED making it!  The customer told me to have fun with the design and I did.  She even needed some cupcakes to send home with the guests as they came in throughout the event.  So I got to incorporate the design into toppers as well.

This next cake wanted the "wow" factor but since plans had changed she didn't need ALL the cake to go with it.  So we made the bottom a dummy tier of foam to still get in the design she wanted. 

And this last cake made my summer.  It really did.  And I swore to the heavens I would never make another shoe after a cake mishap a couple years ago.  But I needed to do it for this client.  I met Ms Carrie a few months ago when she moved to the area and reached out for a cake.  Have you ever met someone that just has this contagious smile?  That's Ms Carrie.  I have made a few cakes for her in the last few months but it was her husband who reached out for this one which I thought was really sweet.
