I have two busy seasons a year. Spring and Fall. And I am slowly chugging along with this latest busy season. First up is a tale of two very different red and black cakes. Next we have a massive pirate cake complete with a ship on top! My favorite part is the tentacles coming out of the treasure chest. Here is a GIANT!! Bluey cake. This cake was so tall it wouldn't fit on my backdrop. The landscapes and characters were achieved by using printouts on rice paper. If you have never seen the show on Disney+...go subscribe now. It's adorable. And last, but not least, on this blog installment is a Little Blue Truck cake. The main portion of the cake is tinted buttercream but the decorations were done in fondant.

As we get ready to celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary here, I can't help but think of all the couples who have been jumping through hoops basically blindfolded during this pandemic. I was finally able to complete this wedding order after a year postponement. Their wedding venue was gorgeous down at The Meadows at Firefly Farm Preserve and they even had a donkey brought in to deliver Cheerwine and beers around to the guests!
