Geode Cake

I was so excited this past weekend.  I finally got a reason to make a geode cake!!!!  I have been seeing them every where on Pinterest and they are stunning.  STUNNING!

I have started volunteering at my son's elementary school and hooked up with the Staff Appreciation PTA group.  They asked if I could make something sweet for Custodian Appreciation Day (technically yesterday but celebrated today) for the main custodian of the school.  Miss Rose collects rocks and I couldn't think of anything more appropriate!
