Almost to the end!

It's December, y'all!!  
We are almost done with this wild rollercoaster called 2020.  I have had my last crazy weekend of orders and I am slowing down here in our cul de sac until the new year.

This cake below was done with edible images on rice paper for the bottom tier decorations. The original cake had a comic strip around the sides but I wasn't finding anything really appropriate for a 3 year old.  Some of those old cartoons are something else!!  So we decided to go with single poses and I think it came out adorable.  The fondant topper was done by sketching out the pose in a thin edible ink marker and filling in where needed with food coloring.  

And I never get tired of unicorn or mermaid cakes.  You can have so much fun with them!  Fun boxes of cupcakes went along with this little cake for a birthday parade this weekend.
